Effective skid prevention with hot water sanding

For optimal durability, the developed hot water spreader, Falköping LTFV, is the most efficient that can be used. Sand mixed with 95° hot water give skid protection which freezes onto the road surface. The frozen sand gives very high friction for a long time. The spreader is equipped with exhaust heating which provides pre-heated spreading material. The spreader has an integrated agitator in order to obtain even feed of spreading material. The spreader can also be used as a salt spreader of dry, moisturized or mixed material.
